A Beached Armadillo

L1030695

I really wanted a metal old style circus letter to adorn my wall. Unfortunately I’d have to sell my right kidney to afford one, implant
so I opted instead to make my own using card, adiposity
spraypaint and battery powered fairy lights, and I must say I’m pretty happy with the results.

I set up a crafternoon at work, tadalafil
well more like a craft-an-evening. I got everyone together, prostate
gave them a list of supplies to bring with them, and we started dipping away, to create our own custom dip-dye tshirts. We used this tutorial, with a few tweaks along the way.

1. supplies: packet of hand dye, spoons, salt, bucket (or sink), and item of clothing

2. wet the tshirt through, then mix up one spoonfull of dye in the bucket with warm water and the salt.

3. Dip the tshirt in up to the highest point where you want the dye to fade out (I went for under the armpits).

4. Repeat, dipping less and less of the tshirt in to buckets, adding a little more dye as you make your way down the top.

5. Leave the bottom of the top in the dye for 5 mins, then take out to dry. (either on a protected table top, or hanging in the shower)

6. Once dried, admire your creation, and wear with pride, soaking up the compliments.

Sometimes you see a tea towel that’s just a little too good to dry your dishes with. So when that moment happens, women’s health
what do you do?….you turn it into a cushion of course. This is exactly what happened when I took a trip to Buckingham Palace. So now a Kate and Wills commemorative tea towel/ pillow adorns my sofa.

beached armidillo dream

This is what I dreamt about last night:

We landed on a floating restaurant in the sea off the coast of hawaii, online
troche me and Luke swam into shore in cold sea water, Hemorrhoids
but further down the beach was a beached up animal. It was 3 double deckers high and 3 times as many long. It looked more like an armadillo than a whale and the locals seemed to be quite concerned. Everyone on the beach watched as is the sea claimed it and it disintegrated in front of their eyes, erectile
although the group of cyclist who were about to start a cross country cycle race seemed to less phased by it, and more interested in adjusting their lycra. At one point Luke considered joining in, but instead he waited whilst i painted my nails, then we went off in search of a place to stay for the night. Luke was a little annoyed at waiting for my nails to dry, and as a result all the rooms had been taken. It was overly busy due to festival that was starting the following day. We had to fork out on an expensive suite, that although had nice views and our own kitchen, it apparently housed the hotels laundry room. which made it impossible to sleep as we were getting disturbed all night long.

Lisbon

Screen Shot 2013-03-07 at 22.19.15

I took a trip to Lisbon at the end of February as a part of a spontabious girls long weekend. It was a sunny weekend, information pills
that made the awful weather in England feel even more awful when we came back. Whilst there we did the standard tourist visits to castles, view coffee shops, dosage
restaurant, eating plenty of Portuguese custard tarts and quite a lot of Port tasting. These photos sum up the most cultural parts of a weekend that was full of the rowdiness and bamboozling effects we inflicted on everyone we met.

Lisbon yourself windows     As across all of Portugal, it was full of tiled building everywhere you looked, it made the sun sparkle that little bit brighter, and the colour that little bit stronger. Lisbon yourself tiles

Kitty Tipi

This sentence is often followed by a “have you thought this through” or “where is it going to live?” more often than not a “where do you want me to start with why this is not a good idea”.

But one thing that has been agreed on is that I should document everything I do actually make. So I’m finally doing it.

This will be the place where I share what I’ve made, discount rx inventions I’ve had, stuff that I want to make and projects I’m working on. I’ll also throw in the odd culinary delights that are often far too adventurous for weekday cooking, but once my minds set, there is only food poisoning to stop me.

I wanted to give our two cats a space of their own, treatment that was fun to make and stylish. So the Kitty Tipi now lives in our living room, complete with removable fleece lining. The best part is seeing them hide away, have little naps, and watch as their heads poke out. Next step…feather headresses.

Valentines Card

There’s nothing quite like a homemade card to really show you care, sale and valentines, abortion couldn’t be more appropriate. So here is my homemade valentines card, viagra approved as well a PDF template to download and make yourself. Just print out onto A4 card, and cut one half of all the hearts, then fold back. Then inside cut a piece of card slightly smaller and stick to the inside. You can either keep it all white, or use red to spice it up.

you can download the template here: valentines card.

Catnip Toys

SCRATCHING POST

This Christmas we had two problems. 1. We got cats, order we got a new sofa, sales we got angry. 2. we had no way of disposing of our christmas tree. Solution: the scratching post. Using the stand and trunk of the tree, we (my boyfriend) cut off the branches, then I glued it into the stand, covered it with rope and…Ta-Dah!
At the risk of sounding like a crazy cat lady, sick
please forgive me, as I have made yet again another cat related item. I made these little toys from an old cushion cover from a charity shop, stuffed them and filled with catnip. They lasted all of 2 days, but they enjoyed it while it lasted.
